Research Interest
Adam is a limnologist turned aquatic biogeochemist. His work spans lakes, wetlands, rivers, and urban canals and has taken place in climates ranging from temperate to arid. His interests focus on greenhouse gas dynamics. Combining in-situ data collection and statistical modelling, his work explores how gases are produced, imported, and emitted from aquatic systems to the atmosphere. As a member of the Wetland Carbon Lab, his research explores nutrient cycling in Singapore’s diverse network of streams and canals.
